Information Agent
The primary function of an Information Agent is to contact a company’s shareholders and respond to their telephone inquiries. We explain to investors the details of the offer, but do not give financial advice. We assist the shareholders complete letters of transmittal properly and make sure they send all required documents to the designated depositary. We work with our clients, their legal counsel and financial advisors to devise the most effective strategies to complete the transaction. We assist in drafting press releases, letters to shareholders and advertisements. We also review the offering documents, with an eye toward the back office mechanics of depositories, custodians, brokerage firm and bank reorganization departments.
We have established advertising relationships with major international financial publications including Barron’s, Financial Post, Financial Times, The Globe and Mail, International Herald Tribune, Investor’s Business Daily, National Post, The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal. |
